We make delicious Italian inspired food. On a beach in Cornwall. With amazing ingredients. What could be better?
Each morning a small army of local farmers, fishermen and growers arrive on our doorstep with a feast of food plucked fresh from the fields and sea. Over 80% of what we serve is Cornish. Even our pasta when the season’s right.
Then it’s over to our talented team of professional and apprentice chefs. The kitchen’s philosophy is to keep it simple. Let good food speak for itself. Minimum fuss, just a fusion of great tasting ingredients rustically plated up and served with a postcard perfect view of the beach.
What’s more, the menu changes twice a day, everyday. It’s a perk of being surrounded by truly passionate producers who are arguably some of the best in the country.
Our doors open for breakfast every morning at 8.30am. If you’ve not tried a fry up Italian style you’re missing out! It definitely gets the day going. Lunch at Fifteen Cornwall is a favourite here. The restaurant buzzes with atmosphere and it’s a great time for families with younger children. We serve a simple three-course set menu for £27 (priced at £28 from the 31st March 2012) or you can eat off our a la carte menu.
Dinner is a more intimate affair. Guests are treated to our £58 tasting menu (priced at £60 from the 31st March 2012); five courses that capture the full flavour of Cornwall’s renowned produce, served against the backdrop of a sunset over Watergate Bay. Good food can never truly be at home without good wine so Gordon, our sommelier, takes care of this with our optional wine package – a glass matched specifically to each course, for an additional £44 (priced at £45 from the 31st March 2012).
